Terms and Conditions

ServEvents is a SaaS (software as a service) platform that allows event organizers and venues ("Organizations") to create, publish and manage their own events, sell tickets and reservations, and manage their customers' digital wallet and purchase history.

ServEvents provides the Platform's technology infrastructure, but does not organize, promote or run the events published by third parties. The contractual relationship relating to participation in a specific event (ticket, reservation, event quality, programme changes, event cancellation) is established between you and the Organization responsible for that event, not with ServEvents.

Each Organization is responsible for the accuracy of the information it publishes (description, venue, date, prices) and for fulfilling the obligations it takes on towards its customers.

To create an account, you must be at least 16 years old. If you are between 16 and 18, you confirm that you have your legal guardian's authorization to use the Service and make purchases.

You agree to provide truthful, current and complete information when registering, and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for all activity carried out on your account and for keeping your password confidential — let us know immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

When you buy a ticket or reservation, you confirm the number of seats/tickets selected and the price shown at the time of purchase, in the currency set by the Organization for that event.

Payment confirmation on the Platform is currently processed directly, without an external payment gateway — the purchase is confirmed immediately and the ticket/reservation is issued at the moment of the transaction. We will give advance notice of any change to this process, including the introduction of external payment processors.

The ticket includes a unique QR code and a manual reference code, personal and non-transferable except through the transfer features made available on the Platform. ServEvents and Organizations reserve the right to refuse entry to tickets obtained outside the Platform's official channels or of fraudulent origin.

Cancellations and refunds

The cancellation and refund policy for tickets and reservations is set by each Organization, within the limits of applicable law. If an Organization cancels an event, you should contact that Organization directly through the contact details available on the event page.

ServEvents may, at an Organization's request and when technically possible, provide operational support for processing refunds, but does not assume its own financial liability for events cancelled, postponed or changed by third parties.

Reservations for VIP areas, tables, reserved parking or cloakroom/lockers require a valid ticket for the same event, and are subject to the number of seats set by the Organization for each reservation type.

You are responsible for correctly identifying the guests associated with your reservation, within the applicable seat limit.

The digital wallet lets you top up balance, in advance or on-site at the event, for products and services made available by the Organization during the event. Balance is managed per organization — it cannot be transferred between different Organizations on the Platform.

Wallet balance is not a third-party payment instrument and does not earn interest. Unless required by law or by a specific Organization policy, unused balance is not automatically refundable; contact the relevant Organization to check its policy.

Promo codes issued by Organizations are single-use, personal, non-transferable and valid only for the event and period indicated. They cannot be combined, resold or used fraudulently — ServEvents and Organizations reserve the right to cancel codes used in breach of these rules.

When using the Platform, you agree not to:

• Resell tickets for speculative or fraudulent purposes, or outside the rules set by the Organization;
• Access or attempt to access third parties' areas, accounts or data without authorization;
• Introduce malicious code, deliberately overload the infrastructure, or bypass the Platform's security measures;
• Use the Platform for unlawful purposes or purposes that infringe third parties' rights.

We may suspend or close accounts that breach these rules, without prejudice to other legally available measures.

The Platform's own software, design, brand and content belong to ServEvents. Content published by each Organization (descriptions, images, event banners) is the responsibility and property of that Organization, which warrants that it holds the rights necessary to publish it.

To the extent permitted by law, ServEvents is not liable for indirect damages, loss of profits, or for breaches, changes or cancellations of events that are the Organizations' responsibility.

We make reasonable efforts to keep the Platform available and secure, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, with advance notice whenever possible.

The processing of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service or to applicable law. Material changes will be communicated with reasonable advance notice through the Platform or by email. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

You may close your account at any time by contacting us at legal@servevents.com. We may suspend or close accounts in the event of a breach of these Terms, fraud, or a legal obligation to do so.

These Terms are governed by Portuguese law. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the courts of the district where ServEvents resides, to the exclusion of any other, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rules that may apply.
